Timeless Realism

American Artists Professional League hosts a new show of realism by top-tier member artists.

From September 19 to November 6, the American Artists Professional League will present Timeless, a members-only exhibition featuring approximately 60 works of art in oil, acrylic, watercolor, sculpture and drawing—all grounded in realism.

Deborah Macy, Girl With A Red Ribbon, oil, 24 x 28 in.

Taking place at the historic Lyme Art Association in Old Lyme, Connecticut, the inaugural exhibition is juried by AAPL’s board of directors along with show chair and Signature AAPL member Del-Bourree Bach, known for his striking seascapes and rural landscapes. All artists juried into the show are of the organization's Elected Artist, Signature, Fellow and Life Member status, and include such names as Fang Sullivan, Karen Israel, Nancy Allen and Nikki Travaglino. The organization will also award over $5,000 in prizes during the event, which will be judged by Bach and fellow artist Antonio Lones.

Nikki Travaglino, Double Trouble, acrylic, 24 x 36 in.

“American Artists Professional League is very excited about our inaugural exhibition at the elegant and historic Lyme Art Association with many high-level contemporary and traditional AAPL realist members from all over the country,” says AAPL president Aki Kano.

Digital and print-on-demand catalogs will accompany the exhibition, allowing collectors to revisit their favorite pieces and artists at their leisure. Collectors may pick up their purchases in person or arrange for the work to be shipped. American Art Collector is a proud sponsor of AAPL. —
